Book News: Ending At 8:00 PM PST – Get Your Stormlight Archives Miniatures On Kickstarter

Brandon Sanderson partnered with Brotherwise Games and launched a Kickstarter campaign last month for Stormlight Archives Miniatures. It’s since been revealed during the campaign that a Stormlight Archives Tabletop Role Playing Game (TTRPG) is expected to hit stores in 2024 and these miniatures will be usable for that content.

During the course of the campaign, Sanderson and his team have hit many stretch goals and added a ton of new releases which include additional miniatures, first viewings of finalized character art for some characters, painted figurines, and even a Bridge 4 Bridge for the Rhythm of War pledge level and above. If you’re a mega fan and love statue art, Sanderson even personally designed a large statue of Kaladin facing off with Szeth in battle. The large statue is actually two separate ones of super high quality meant to be proudly displayed.

The Kickstarter pledge levels start at $30 for the Way of Kings miniature bundle, and go all the way up to $475 for the “All In” bundle which includes all 4 miniature bundles, some painted and additional miniatures, a chasmfiend miniature, and the Kaladin-Szeth statue. You can also buy add-on items separately if you’d rather get just the painted (larger) miniatures or statue without buying the mini bundles.

Pretty much every character is represented with a miniature so your favorite is sure to be included, even Moash has a mini. They are a smidge larger than standard tabletop size (4mm-ish) but this is to allow for more detailed artwork on the minis themselves. The painted ones are a larger set still, about double the size of the smaller ones. Sanderson’s team is also working with The Army Painter and will include painting guides and follow-alongs to paint these with ease, no talent required.
