This day in 2020 the past, I was reading:

Physical: Angel’s Blood by Nalini Singh

So, this counts as both Physical and Audiobook. I started this one on Audiobook but the narrator and I had irreconcilable differences. I really wanted to love this series because alphas that can fly which is my favorite romance genre, but I read into book 3 and just lost interest. I rated it 4 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

Audiobook: The Waste Lands by Stephen King

This is book 3 in The Dark Tower series. The narrator, Frank Muller, makes this book totally come to life. I was binging audiobooks around this time in 2020 while working and I remember this one being one of my favorites. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

Fast Forward To Today: I’m still reading The Golden Enclaves by Naomi Novik. I had a busy weekend and didn’t get to put any work into it, but I hope to complete it soon.

Comparison Note

I read fewer romances today compared with 2020 and I’ve put The Dark Tower series on hold indefinitely. I’ll get back into it someday but lately I haven’t been feeling King’s storytelling style (we have a complicated relationship where I love his work, but dislike the way it makes me feel while reading it).
