Another week of October’s Halloween-ness! Our theme is Spooky Books. I don’t read a ton of scary books (I’m more into scary movies) but I’ve come up with a few stories here that I got a spooky or creepy feeling from.
Let’s join @Functionally Fictional and the rest of the book-blogging-community. Be sure to visit her blog and join in on the fun!

World War Z – By Max Brooks
Devolution – By Max Brooks
The Shining – By Stephen King
What Moves The Dead – By T. Kingfisher
This list isn’t very long but of the books I’ve read in the last few years, these are the ones that made me think twice about being alone in the dark, with creepy topiaries, or wandering among the mushrooms in the forest.
What books do you think are spooky? I’d love some recommendations!
