What are you currently reading?

I started Arthas by Christie Golden, and its been a great read so far. I’ve played Wow for a long time, but I’ve just recently started picking away at the many books on it. I like Christie Golden as a writer and I feel she does a good job writing the characters who have such a huge presence in the game already.

On audiobook this week, I started Dead Man’s Hand by James J. Butcher. I’m about an hour in, so it’s early to tell but I have enjoyed what I’ve heard so far. This is James’ debut release and I hope it goes well for him.

What did you recently finish reading?

This week, I finished All Systems Red by Martha Wells. It was a fun, light novella sized sci-fi gem that shows a lot of potential for the series. I highly recommend it if you’re checking out some science fiction for the first time and don’t want to start out too deep. Check out my review of All Systems Red here.

I also finished Death Troopers (Star Wars) by Joe Schreiber. I loved it and thought it was well done. It’s short, it’s dirty, and it’s fun. Check out my review of Death Troopers here.

And to round out the week, I finished Alaskan Holiday by Debbie Macomber. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was cozy and silly and totally lighthearted. Perhaps I’m going to read more contemporary romance in 2023? Maybe. Check out my review of Alaskan Holiday.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m starting two readathons this week for the month of December. I’ll have a post out about the December Plan on the first of the month. But I can say that I’m planning to do minimal planning…
