Physical: Lightfall: The Girl & The Galdurian– By Tim Probert

I thought this was a fantastic little graphic novel. It was extremely cute and had some good messages about family, friendship, bravery, and doing what’s right. I rated it 5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

This day in 2020, I was reading:

Audiobook: The Sinner – By JR Ward

#18 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. It was okay at the time, although I don’t really remember much about this story as I don’t think it was a main-family character’s POV. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

Physical: Shroud of Eternity – By Terry Goodkind

#2 in the Nicci Chronicles series. I have such big issues with this series, which is a bummer since I loved the other Sword of Truth books so much. I gave it 2 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

Audiobook: A Warm Heart in Winter – By JR Ward

#18.5 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I love the Blaylock + Qhuinn relationship so much. This was a great way to put a bow on it! I gave it 5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

Fast Forward To Today: I’m still reading Arthas by Christie Golden. I’m only 40% in, and I hope it picks up a little speed… it start to stagnate at about 30%. For audiobook I’m doing The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches. It’s… okay. I wouldn’t say this is my type of book. There’s too much domestic household stuff going on and not enough action. Also, there’s a big issue with this audiobook. The narration is SO AGONIZINGLY SLOW. I normally listen to books at a 1.3x-1.5x speed, but this one I had to turn up to 1.75x and some parts are still too slow. The publisher probably had make this book longer for some reason and slowed it down, but this one is ridiculous.
