This week’s Book Blogger Hop prompt for Dec 9th – 15th is:

“Do you have a favorite reading nook?”

Answer: Unfortunately, I don’t really have a favorite place to read, I just have the place I read most: in bed. I do most of my physical reading at night before I go to bed, but I think it’s because I don’t have a better place to read in our apartment (I don’t really like our couch…).

However, I do have dreams of having a cozy reading corner with a large, comfy chair, reading lamp, and little table for holding my coffee, tea, or scotch. I’ve wanted a place like that for a long, long time, but I guess I’ve just never prioritized getting one set up. Perhaps that will be my 2023 home-library goal!

I have a perfect place to set up a reading nook, I just need to break down and go chair shopping. And look for the right kind of reading lamp. And also find a good, small table for the beverages and other treats. And talk my husband into letting me jam an overstuffed chair into our small living room!
