What are you currently reading?

Audiobook:
Nothing! I finished my book last night and haven’t decided which to pick up next. Today, I’m listening to some podcasts from Believing the Bizarre. You can check them out here if you’re into the paranormal!

Physical:
I’m dabbling with It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover. Honestly, I didn’t realize that a large portion of this book was journal flashbacks to her teen years and I don’t feel like reading about teen love at the moment. It’ll end up on pause and I’ll come back to it at a later date.

Bedtime Audiobook:
Dead Man’s Hand by James J. Butcher – Still being lulled to sleep by James Patrick Cronin. I have about 5 more days left of this before moving on to a new book!

What did you recently finish reading?

This week, I finished five books:

Cold Days by Jim Butcher – #14 in the Dresden Files. Loved it.

Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree – Cozy story about friendship, love, and coffee. It wasn’t really my cup of java, but it was well written.

Network Effect by Martha Wells – #5 in the Murderbot series. Oh boy was this a good one!

One Punch Man Vol. 19 by ONE – Seriously the best manga ever. I don’t write reviews for Manga on the blog but I do leave little blurbs on Goodreads.

Skin Game by Jim Butcher – #15 in the Dresden Files. Wow. It might be my favorite in the series.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m on the hunt for a new audiobook. I’m not sure what I’m in the mood for, and I’ve got a few ready to go… I just need to pick one and get started.

I still need to do a January new release too, but my plan for that went sideways when Book of the Month messed up my order and didn’t send me Ninth House when I picked up Hell Bent. 😦 So I’ll have to wait to read those until next month’s box arrives. I might just do a January & February new release read next month to double up!

In the end… There’s always more Dresden that I can fall back on 🙂
