Do you like romances with happy endings?

I’ve been reading a few more books with romantic elements and happy endings seem to be everywhere. I don’t usually mind them, especially when I pick up a romance that’s supposed to have one.

Do you think that all romances should have happy endings?

Nope! I actually prefer love stories that don’t end up in happy-land.

Why or why not?

Does real life romance always have a happy ending? Romance can happen in all sorts of ways. Not all of them get to be happy. Books should be the same, some happy, some not so happy.
