This day in 2022, I was reading:

Audiobook: World War Z – By Max Brooks

My favorite zombie book. The acting in the audio version is spectacular.
I rated it 5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

Physical: Kate and the Kraken – by Honey Phillips

Let’s call this read a ‘step out of your comfort zone’ kind of book. I thought it was entertaining, if not unusual and silly. If you like unusual romances with a cozy and sweet character pairing, then this might be for you!

Fast Forward To Today: I’m still working on A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. Technically, I got bored with it and put in on Pause, but then I decided today that I’ll poke at it for an hour here and there and hopefully finish it before the library hold ends. It’s pretty boring in the first half.

I’m also getting started on Island of the Lost by Joan Druett. It’s about two 1860’s shipwrecks on Auckland Island where the two different groups end up stranded, but separate from one another and how these groups choose to survive.

And for audiobook, I started Queen’s Peril by EK Johnston. It’ll be interesting to learn about Padme’s early years.
