Welcome to WWW Wednesday! It was originally hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm but is now run by Taking On A World Of Words.
WWW Wednesday is simple, just answer 3 questions about reading:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
You can post a link to your blog on Taking On A World of Word’s blog post for the week so other readers can see what you’re working on, and check out your blog!
What are you currently reading?
Audiobook:
Lassiter by JR Ward released yesterday so I immediately started it. I will likely finish it today and post my thoughts later this evening. If you’re reading this one, feel free to reach out so we can chat about your thoughts on it!
I highly recommend the audiobook version as Jim Frangione is one of the most talented narrators out there right now. You can find it here on Audible.
Physical:
The Frugal Wizard’s Handbook for Surviving Medieval England by Brandon Sanderson aka Secret Project #2 launched yesterday as well. To start it’s out on Kindle first, so I grabbed a copy and will get the hardcover when it comes out in couple more months. You can get a copy of this for Kindle here.
If you’re like me and learned about the Year of Sanderson Kickstarter too late, don’t worry, you can still get all the beautiful Kickstarter versions of the books as they are released in Hardback on Sanderson’s website Dragonsteel Books here. Right now, only Tress of the Emerald Sea is available along with a Hoid fan box. Secret Project #2 should be available as Sanderson’s group starts to package and ship the books to the Kickstarter folks in the coming months, so be sure to check back or follow him on Youtube where he does weekly updates and other videos.
What did you recently finish reading?
This week I took it easy on the reading so I only finished two books:
Bird Box by Josh Malerman – A crazy ride through a post-apocalyptic nightmare.
House at the End of the World by Dean Koontz – A thrilling suspense novel featuring some wild and weirdly odd stuff.
What do you think you’ll read next?
My TBR for April:
On Tuesday, I plan to pick up The Wager by David Grann. It’s a non-fiction story about two very different sides of a shipwreck that involves a supposed mutiny. I’ve been interested in 1700-1800 ship adventures so this should be right up my alley.
From the Grave by Kresley Cole also releases on Tuesday, so I’m going to grab that as well. I really wanted to do audio on this, but I haven’t seen anything about it being recorded at all so I’ll have to read it on Kindle, I think.
I have a ton of reading to do this month so I’ve got to stay focused on it (and completely procrastinate doing my school work…).
That’s all I’ve got for WWW Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by!

My copy of The Frugal Wizard’s Handbook for Surviving Medieval England is sitting in my email, waiting for me to shoot it over to my kindle. Whoops. I haven’t even read Tress yet!
