May 2023 TBR & State Of The Blog Update

The end of April & beginning of May were super busy weeks for me with school. I ended up having to take a final exam just before the end of the term and was stuck studying my butt off. Thankfully, I passed so it’s on to another term, and more school work!
Who am I kidding… I’m totally procrastinating now that I have 21 weeks left in my new term… bring on the books! (And Warcraft!)

The last 6 weeks were super busy for me in the book-release world with a whopping 10 TBR books that came out. I managed to get through 9 of them and the 10th is on hold at the library until the end of time (I might have to buy it but am trying to resist… story for another day). May is more or less a slow month for me reading-wise though, as only a couple of new titles hit my TBR list.

As for the blog itself, I’ve been busy making some nice changes and updates to the formatting (I hope you like it!). I am also teaching myself how to use Illustrator and Midjourney AI, so it’s been fun combining those two programs to make interesting stuff. The goal for this summer is to create more posts and have a more steady release schedule (some day I’ll be organized) of unique posts. I’m also planning to start a YouTube channel but I’m still undecided on whether it will be about books or something else.

A few things I’m hoping to do this May:
– Break out my hammock
– Go on a hike
– Do a little urban exploring
– Finally try a Philly Cheesesteak
– Visit a couple of lighthouses
– Practice my photography
– Hit the course for some golf action
