This day in 2022, I was reading:

Audiobook: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving

I love the movie starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci but I supremely disliked the original story. I listened to it on audio and it was a total snoozer. However, this might not be the content of the book itself, and I’m sure it was a smash hit when it first came out in the very early 1800’s. I mean, it’s full if creepy, spooky, and dangerous ideas about traveling the road alone between towns, but for 2020’s era it just wasn’t up to the bar for me. This might just be due to my inability to appreciate ‘the classics’ though…
I rated it 2 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

Fast Forward To Today:
Working on Hell Bent still. I’m hoping to finish it this weekend but we’ll see… I have a lot of schoolwork to get through and I’m probably going to get distracted by Wow.
