I’ve been reading for pretty much my whole life but I didn’t start making it my #1 hobby until just before 2019. Since then, I’ve managed 100+ books per year and decided in the summer of 2022 to begin recording reviews for the titles I read so that I can share with others who might be interested. Disorderly Daydreams began as an everything blog, but quickly became focused on books and it has flourished since it’s creation. I love that I get to share with other readers and appreciate every visit to the blog! ❤
My next big project for the book blog is going to be to create a booktube channel. Mostly this is for practicing video creation and editing but books are a fun topic so we’ll be starting with that! I also need to get serious with Instagram posts which I’ve also been procrastinating…
When I’m not reading, I’m usually procrastinating in any way I can that helps me avoid homework. I’m a full-time Accounting major but I also have a 9-5 job so while I like to pretend my time is busy with studying, it’s really not. I have many hobbies and a bit of ADD. When I’m not trying to focus on school, I can be found playing World of Warcraft (For the Alliance!), creating fun art on Midjourney, blogging, practicing photography, playing D&D, spending some time adventuring out of the house, pretending I’m a writer, and playing with our cats (Roger & Gus).

> Rating reviews is done based on a 1-5 system.

– 5⭐ is given to any book that was enjoyable (I liked it a lot and felt it was a great read).
– 4⭐ is given to enjoyable books that had a major issue but it was not a book ruin’r.
– 3⭐ for average books that were okay, but not great, and didn’t have any major issues.
– 2⭐ for average books or enjoyable books that had many issues (poor editing, riddled with terrible characters, bad narration).
– 1⭐ – any book that’s an auto-fail for being hot-garbage. (featuring terrible elements such as animal cruelty, destruction of established lore, graphic violence against children)
– DNF – some books are not finishable. It just happens that way.
