I’ve chosen Patricia Briggs as my author and I’m going to suggest whole series instead of just individual books. I’ve been into Briggs’ Mercy Thompson series lately so I have a few recommendations to check out if you like her work, too!

1 – The Sixth World series by Rebecca Roanhorse

Post apocalyptic story about a Navajo woman who gains special clan powers as a gift from the Gods.

2 – Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris

A fantasy series that has a bit of pretty much everything supernatural, as well as romance, shifters, and werewolves.

3 – Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole

It’s a romance series where every book focuses on a different supernatural couple but there’s a wide variety of creatures, all characters are reoccurring, and there’s an overarching storyline that gets really interesting.

4 – Midnight, Tx series by Charlaine Harris

Little bit of urban fantasy set way out in the middle of nowhere Texas in a tiny town with unusual residents.

5 – The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher

Classic urban fantasy featuring magic, fae, werewolves, demons, and so many other supernatural beings.
