Welcome to WWW Wednesday! It was originally hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm but is now run by Taking On A World Of Words.
WWW Wednesday is simple, just answer 3 questions about reading:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
You can post a link to your blog on Taking On A World of Word’s blog post for the week so other readers can see what you’re working on, and check out your blog!
What are you currently reading?
Audiobook:
I’m still working on A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. Please just let it be over… This story is dragging on and on. Let’s get to some crazy action!
Today I’ll start on Brief Cases by Jim Butcher. I’m quickly catching up to current on this series and I’m sad. I love this story, these characters, and all the hilarious, yet emotionally touching writing… I never want it to end.
Physical:
I didn’t make much progress on Island of the Lost by Joan Druett, so I’ll continue that this week. I’ve got as far as the ship crashing, but not even onto the island yet.
Bedtime Audiobook:
I’m still listening to How To Build A Car by Adrian Newey. Formula 1 season is almost here, but I am considering switching to World War Z by Max Brooks… would that be too weird of a bedtime story? Who doesn’t love zombies shambling about in their dreams?
What did you recently finish reading?
This week, I finished six books:
The Dawn of Yangchen by FC Yee – #3 in the Chronicles of the Avatar series.
One Punch Man #23 by ONE – Some of these monsters are pretty terrifying.
One Punch Man #24 by ONE – Lava bathing?!
Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes – #2 in the You series. Finally some justice?
Queen’s Peril by EK Johnston – #2 in the Star Wars: The Padme Trilogy.
Star Wars: Red Harvest by Joe Schreiber – Uh, what did I just read?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I am waiting for my BOTM shipment to arrive… so while I do that, I’m going to try and work through Fugitive Telemetry by Martha Wells, start on You Love Me by Caroline Kepnes, and begin the long journey into Howling Dark by Christopher Ruocchio. I’ve got quite the week ahead of me and I hope none of them are destined to become DNF’s!
That’s all I’ve got for WWW Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by!
